What to expect
Over this four-week workshop you will learn the techniques and skills necessary to execute your very own realistic still-life oil painting, regardless of any previous experience.

Together we will cover:
- Applicable colour theory
- Fundamentals of oil painting
- Traditional layering techniques
- Proportion and composition
​- Mediums and tools
- Spatial relationships
- The mind's idea of an object vs the eye's reality
- Tones and landmarking
- And so much more..

Everyone is encouraged to take home their finished painting at the completion of the workshop.

What I'll provide
All oil paints, easels, brushes, palettes, mediums, rags, containers, supports and information sheets
will be provided throughout the workshop and are included in the price of the four weeks. Coffee, tea
​and refreshments also included.

No matter your experience with oil paints, painting or portraits, this workshop is tailored to fit you with the best groundwork to benefit your particular level and it's progression.

What to bring
You are more than welcome to bring in your own source material on the first day of the workshop and spend the course painting a still life image of your choosing!
